About it

From 2012 to 2015, I played guitar and recorded any interesting ideas I came up with. Most of these guitar tracks are experimental—somewhere between rock, noise, and whatever else came out. Back then I edited everything in Sony Vegas Pro, the software I knew. Later I stopped recording, but I compiled those sessions and uploaded the collection to my YouTube channel.

Between 2021 and 2022, in my free time I discovered FL Studio Mobile and started making small tracks. These went in a more chiptune or synthwave direction, depending on the track. I also revisited a few old compositions—mainly to preserve the ideas I had. Those tracks became another compilation on my channel.

I was first influenced by music from Super Nintendo and PlayStation 1—since those were the consoles I spent the most time on—and later by rock bands like Nirvana, Linkin Park, Metallica (the much-criticized St. Anger), and… somehow, Crazy Frog. Today, my taste is very broad; I use RateYourMusic almost like a personal repository of music I've listened to or want to explore.

In 2022, after watching a lot of Clone Hero content and improving my FL Studio skills, I made an album called “Hero”, intended as a set of tracks for the game. Since then, I’ve composed several tracks in my spare time and uploaded the ones I liked most.

When I had many unfinished ideas, I grouped them into compilation-style albums and released them together. I’ve also done a few covers (for example, Yume Nikki and Donkey Kong Country).

At the beginning of 2024 I finally bought an audio interface, which let me record guitar with decent quality. I’m still learning mixing, compression, stereo, and frequency balancing, but revisiting older tracks gave me the chance to experiment and improve.

Recently I’ve been re-uploading older tracks to Bandcamp. Before posting, I remix each track using the knowledge I’ve picked up. My goal is that once I finish reposting everything, I’ll focus on recording new guitar material.

Looking forward, I want to try making a proper album focused on guitar recordings, possibly adding digital drums and bass. The idea is to experiment, make mistakes, and see if I can produce something that feels truly “real” and high-quality.
